The Staff-Parish Relations Committee (SPPRC) is the administrative unit in Westphalia United Methodist Church where staff and congregational interests are integrated to focus on the mission of the church. SPPRC is truly a committee that relates to all staff--both bishop-appointed staff and employed staff. The committee’s primary responsibility is to work with the Pastor in relations with the staff and congregation as they relate to the vision and mission of the church
The Staff/Pastor-Parish Relations Committee members are nominated by the committee on lay leadership and elected by the charge or church conference. The committee meets at least quarterly in a closed section, and all information shared in the committee is confidential.
