Our Future Plans

The Couples Helping Couples Ministry (CHC) was established in 2004 after several couples discussed the wonderful time shared at the annual Married Couples Retreat. From those conversations we decided we wanted to fellowship more than once a year. The idea was shared with Reverend West and several couples started having monthly gatherings for potluck meals and fellowship in our homes. Couples take turns hosting the monthly session that may have anywhere from 6 to 12 couples, informally chatting or taking part in a scheduled roundtable discussion. We have been known to skip a month or two but we always enjoy the fellowship and food when we get together. Our interactive sessions on the wonders and wows of marriage, embrace the idea that couples ministering to couples works!

Our sessions are posted a week in advance in the Sunday bulletin and all interested married couples are requested to sign up on the announcement posted in the Fellowship Hall. For more information, contact Leonard or Virginia Pinkney at 301 868 7843.
