Examine Your Commitments!

When we commit ourselves to Christ, Christ commits himself to us.

2 Timothy 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Not only do we need to commit our souls to Christ in Salvation, but we also need to commit ourselves to doing the will of God.

Psalms 143:10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Contribution to the Scholarship Fund

The Education and Scholarship Ministry encourages all WUMC members to make contribution to the Scholarship fund so that we may be able to offer substantive scholarship and concrete encouragement to our very worthy students.

Family Ministries needs you as we gear up to move forward into our new edifice and season! Moving forward to grow this ministry and assist other ministries to serve the needs of our greater community, congregation and world. Below are a list of ways in which Family Ministries wants to grow. The seeds have been planted in all these areas, we need you to help them grow. We will walk by faith and not by sight in order to make these things possible.

Twice a year donating food to local food pantry “Fill a Bin Drive” Missionary/ charity --- help with Local and global concerns/Charity once or twice a year

Uniform/Supply and Book bag drive Call Team --who will reach out directly to families within the church and community. This team will also help to keep ongoing information on family-community needs.
